Asus introduces Eee Box

Asus, the makers of the Eee PC which has revolutionized ultra mobile computing, has announced an ultra small desktop model called the Eee Box. Asus claims to be able to have you on the Internet in just seven seconds after bootup. It also features wireless N connectivity as well as gigabit ethernet. As well as being small, the Eee Box is extremely quiet and is efficient with energy consumption. No pricing or general availabilty has been released yet. Other specs are below:

- Intel Atom N270 (1.6GHz)
- 1GB RAM
- 80GB hard drive
- Card reader
- 802.11n WLAN
- Gigabit Ethernet
