This neat little product has come to my attention recently and I wanted to share it. These USB Cells are self-contained rechargeable batteries. They are standard AA size batteries that can be used in anything that requires AA batteries. The great thing about them is that they do not require any special recharging station; you just simply flip the top and plug them into any USB port. The green product won a Gold award at the IF Product Design ceremony at CEBIT. These batteries are not cheap, running about $17.50 for a pack of two, but they will pay off especially environmentally if you use a lot of AA batteries.
